Terms of Service
Effective date: 8 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of getcaravanready.com.au and your purchase or use of products supplied by Get Caravan Ready. By accessing the website, placing an order or using a product, you agree to these terms.
1. About Get Caravan Ready
Get Caravan Ready is an Australian online business providing digital educational resources for caravanners. Contact us at info@getcaravanready.com.au.
2. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Digital products
Products may include downloadable PDFs, checklists, worksheets, spreadsheets, calculators, templates, reference cards and online tools. Product descriptions identify the included formats and intended use. No physical product will be shipped unless a product page expressly states otherwise.
4. Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and the final amount payable are shown at checkout. You must provide accurate billing and contact information and be authorised to use the selected payment method. We may decline or cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unauthorised payment or technical failure. If payment has been taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.
5. Delivery and access
Digital products are normally delivered after payment confirmation by an on-screen link, email or customer account access. Delivery may be delayed by payment review, email filtering or service outages. See our Shipping Policy for assistance.
6. Licence and permitted use
Unless a product page states otherwise, your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own personal or household purposes. You may download reasonable backup copies and print copies for your own use.
You must not resell, sublicense, distribute, share publicly, upload to a shared library, reproduce for commercial use, remove ownership notices, create a competing product from, or otherwise exploit our content without written permission. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of intellectual property.
7. Educational information and professional advice
Our material provides general educational information for Australian caravanners. It does not take account of your particular vehicle, caravan, circumstances or jurisdiction and is not legal, engineering, mechanical, electrical, gas, medical or financial advice.
Information about vehicle or caravan weights, towing, payloads, layouts, road rules, registration, insurance, off-grid systems, gas, electricity, maintenance, remote travel and safety can change and may vary between jurisdictions, manufacturers and individual combinations. You must check current manufacturer documentation, identification or compliance information, road authority requirements and other primary sources that apply to you. Obtain advice or services from an appropriately qualified professional where required.
Calculators and worksheets produce estimates based on information entered by the user. A result does not certify that a vehicle or caravan combination is legal, compliant or safe. Obtain actual weights and verify every applicable limit before travel.
8. Safety responsibilities
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on information supplied. Do not undertake licensed gasfitting, prescribed electrical work or other regulated work unless appropriately licensed. Follow manufacturer instructions, warnings and the requirements of the regulator in the place where work is performed. For emergencies or changing road, weather, fire or remote-area conditions, use current official sources and emergency services.
9. Accuracy and updates
We take reasonable care in preparing our content, but laws, standards, prices, products, routes, facilities and official guidance change. Unless required by law or expressly included with a product, purchase does not guarantee future updates. We may correct, replace or update content at any time.
10. Refunds and remedies
Refunds and remedies are handled under our Return and Refund Policy and Australian Consumer Law. Get Caravan Ready digital products purchased from this website include a voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. The original purchaser may request a refund of the purchase price within 30 calendar days without needing to prove the product is faulty. This extra promise is in addition to, and does not limit, rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Intellectual property
The website, branding, artwork, text, product structure, downloads, tools and other original material are owned by or licensed to Get Caravan Ready and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. “Get Caravan Ready” and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or origin without written permission.
12. Third-party services and links
The store may rely on Shopify and other payment, email, hosting, analytics or delivery providers. It may link to third-party websites or mention products and services. Third parties control their own content, availability, security and terms. A link or mention does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
13. Affiliate and sponsored content
Some content may contain affiliate links or paid relationships. Where applicable, we will disclose the commercial relationship. We may earn a commission without increasing the price you pay. Commercial relationships do not remove your responsibility to assess whether a product or service suits your needs.
14. Marketing communications
We send marketing communications only where we have the consent or other lawful basis required under Australian law. Marketing messages identify the sender and include a functional unsubscribe method. You may unsubscribe at any time.
15. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy substantial content, interfere with the store, use the service unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, or use our products in a misleading, unsafe or fraudulent way.
16. Website availability and security
We aim to keep the website and downloads available and secure but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your devices, software and account credentials secure. Contact us promptly if you believe a download link or account has been misused.
17. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get Caravan Ready is not liable for loss caused by use of information contrary to these terms, failure to verify information, unauthorised sharing, incompatible software, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a statutory guarantee permits liability to be limited, our liability is limited only in the manner permitted by law.
18. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the store, you acknowledge that Shopify and other necessary service providers may process information to operate the website, complete payments, deliver products, prevent fraud and provide support.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the business, products, technology or law. The version published when you place an order applies to that order unless a change is required by law. Continued use of the website after a change means the updated terms apply to future use.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the applicable laws of Australia. You and Get Caravan Ready submit to the courts with jurisdiction in Western Australia, subject to any rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable consumer law.
21. Severability and waiver
If part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A failure to enforce a term immediately is not a waiver of that term.
